John Bruna

John Bruna (Jangchub Chophel) is an author, counselor, educator, and mindfulness teacher. Overcoming a challenging upbringing, he found recovery at 22 and transformed his life through diverse roles, including addiction counselor and high school teacher. John was an ordained Buddhist monk who served the Gaden Shartse monastery and later co-founded the Mindful Life Program™ and Mindfulness in Recovery®. He aims to help others live meaningful lives through practical and accessible teachings.
